Day in the Life: Early Mornin' Merchin'
Part of my job is to assist our visual team whenever they need an extra hand, so that means 2 AM shifts, comfy shoes, and lots of coffee.
VM is difficult as the creative process is always such a challenge to start. It's draining to look at a blank wall and come up with a concept when it seems as if time would never allow. But, once an idea comes, a wall builds itself. It's such a satisfying feeling to step back, take a sip of coffee, and just look.
Merchandising with the visual team has been a great way to me dip my feet into something I've always wanted to do. It was such an awesome learning experience for me as I had the opportunity to merch a whole wall by myself.
